About the Role
Join our highly motivated sales team as an Enterprise Account Executive in Germany, where you'll build key relationships and evangelize secure, reliable software solutions. This remote role offers the opportunity to demonstrate the immense value of Chainguard's expertise to customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic sales plans for your assigned territory.
- Effectively convey value propositions and product differentiators to prospects and customers.
- Accurately forecast, meet, and consistently exceed sales quotas.
- Develop and manage a robust lead funnel through both inbound and outbound efforts.
- Manage business opportunities and track progress using CRM and other supporting tools.
- Collaborate across the sales cycle with product, support, and sales engineering teams to drive improvements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive market, including competing companies and their offerings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven Enterprise Sales experience.
- Business-level German (C1 or higher) is required.
- Domain experience with one or more of the following: Compute platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps Tooling, CICD platforms (Github, Gitlab, Jenkins), and overall SDLC.
- Strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets.
- Ability to quickly learn new products and processes.
- Highly competitive and driven with a strong desire to succeed.
