Enterprise Account Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Account Executive to join our team and evangelize the importance of secure, hardened open source software to key decision-makers. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth within strategic accounts and help organizations eliminate risk while building faster.

Responsibilities

• Land and expand business within strategic major target accounts.
• Define and execute comprehensive sales plans for your assigned territory.
• Convey the value proposition and technical differentiators of Chainguard solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, forecasting, and closing opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, support, and sales engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of overachieving quotas.
• Domain expertise in compute platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP) or DevOps/CICD tooling.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a resourceful and driven approach to sales.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior experience in SaaS or developer tools sales.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
