About the Role
Join our team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) to prospect, qualify leads, and set appointments, directly contributing to our revenue growth in the security sales market.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify potential clients using various techniques (cold calling, emailing, social media, events).
- Conduct research on prospects to understand their needs and identify decision-makers.
- Generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Qualify leads by understanding business requirements and matching them with solutions.
- Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team.
- Collaborate with the sales team on targeted strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, and interactions in the CRM system.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging security technologies.
- Participate in training and team meetings to improve skills and product knowledge.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product teams based on interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably within the cloud native, cybersecurity, or devops industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot CRM, Salesforce).
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, products, and services.
