Enterprise Sales Engineer

About the Role\nJoin our team as an Enterprise Sales Engineer for the DACH region, where you'll be instrumental in securing technical wins by understanding customer needs and demonstrating the value of Chainguard's cutting-edge security solutions. This is a remote position based in Germany.\n\n### Responsibilities\n- Partner with our Sales Team to help customers evaluate and prove the value of our solution.\n- Lead all technical aspects of sales opportunities, focusing on acquiring new customer logos and growing the existing customer base.\n- Listen to customer challenges, conduct compelling product demonstrations, and manage Proofs of Value (POVs) or Proofs of Concept (POCs).\n- Actively participate in webinars, meetups, conferences, and other marketing initiatives.\n\n### Requirements\n- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Engineer.\n- 3+ years of experience selling into Enterprise and Mid-Market prospects.\n- Experience with sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.\n- Strong technical background in:\n - Container technologies (Kubernetes, Serverless, Docker)\n - Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)\n - Cloud security, container security, or application security.\n- Fluent in both German and English.\n- Must be located in Germany.\n\n### Nice-to-Haves\n- Experience working in a startup environment.\n- A track record of acting as a trusted advisor and building strong credibility with customers.\n- A collaborative spirit, committed to helping and mentoring peers.
