Forward Deployed Engineer, Integrations

About the Role

Sardine is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to spearhead client onboarding for our cutting-edge fraud and compliance products. This is a unique opportunity to manage end-to-end integrations, translate complex technical requirements into effective solutions, and ensure a seamless, successful client deployment in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute implementation and integration projects for fraud and compliance products.
• Provide end-to-end support to clients throughout their onboarding journey, ensuring their success.
• Develop and maintain APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and other essential support materials.
• Analyze client requirements from both technical and functional perspectives, designing solutions that leverage Sardine's system and product capabilities.
• Oversee implementation projects, focusing on quality, timelines, risk mitigation, and timely delivery of all project components.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of customer business challenges, technical needs, and success metrics to deliver tailored solutions using Sardine's technology.
• Act as the primary liaison, providing crucial product feedback to internal teams based on real-world client interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years in technical roles such as Integrations Engineer, QA Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Systems Analyst, or Forward Deployed Engineer, with demonstrated strong execution, integration, and automation skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in B2B SaaS environments, specifically within the payments, fraud, risk, or compliance domains.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational capabilities and proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, driving them to successful completion.
• Proficiency in basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis.
• Experience with API specifications (e.g., OpenAPI), web development principles, and scripting for internal tool development (e.g., bash, Python, Ruby, Golang).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Postman for API testing and development.
