Forward Deployed Engineer - Strategist

About the Role

Join ElevenLabs as a Forward Deployed Engineer on the Strategist team, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI product development and critical customer needs. This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence product strategy by embedding with key partners and translating complex technical challenges into actionable product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison between strategic customers and internal Engineering/Product teams.
• Deeply integrate with strategic partners to understand their workflows, pain points, and opportunities for leveraging ElevenLabs' AI technology.
• Rapidly prototype, debug, and deploy solutions or integrations to unblock strategic customer adoption and success.
• Synthesize customer feedback and technical findings into clear, prioritized requirements and documentation for the core Engineering and Product roadmaps.
• Develop internal tools and documentation to scale knowledge transfer regarding complex deployments and use cases.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, or Technical Consultant.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language relevant to AI/ML infrastructure (e.g., Python, Go, or similar).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both engineering and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment where requirements are evolving.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with API integration patterns.

Nice-to-Haves

• Background or strong interest in Generative AI, Speech Synthesis, or NLP technologies.
• Experience building internal tooling or automation scripts.
• Prior experience working directly with large enterprise or strategic accounts.
