Founding Clinical Coordinator, Radiography

About the Role

Stepful is launching a new Radiologic Technology program and seeking a Founding Clinical Coordinator to build and manage the clinical education component from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a critical part of a program designed to address the national shortage of healthcare workers and improve access to quality healthcare careers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the clinical curriculum, ensuring alignment between didactic learning and clinical practice.
• Build, qualify, and maintain a network of clinical sites, ensuring they meet accreditation standards and provide adequate learning opportunities.
• Oversee student clinical placements, scheduling, and supervision to ensure equitable access to diverse procedures and maintain required ratios.
• Enforce radiation and MRI safety protocols within clinical settings.
• Develop and support clinical preceptors through onboarding, training, and ongoing communication.
• Monitor student competency progression, provide clinical advisement, and develop remediation plans as needed.
• Contribute clinical evidence for accreditation reports and participate in program assessment and outcomes analysis.
• Potentially participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification.
• Current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in radiography.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.
• Proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
• Working knowledge of JRCERT Standards for Accredited Educational Programs in Radiography and ABHES clinical experience requirements.
• Reliable access to a major airport and availability to travel to Texas.

Nice-to-Haves

• Prior clinical coordinator or clinical instructor experience in a JRCERT-accredited program.
