About the Role

As the Head of Engineering - Platform at Keyrock, you will be a pivotal, hands-on leader, guiding our engineering teams in developing and maintaining the scalable, resilient, and high-performance backoffice and trading data platform systems that are at the core of our digital asset operations. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and directly contribute to the future of decentralized finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Drive the architectural design, development, and maintenance of Keyrock's core backoffice and trading data platform systems.
• Actively contribute to engineering efforts, rolling up your sleeves to solve complex technical challenges and set technical direction.
• Ensure the platform's reliability, performance, scalability, and security in a high-frequency trading environment.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Requirements

• Proven track record of 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams.
• Extensive experience in designing, building, and scaling high-performance, resilient, and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on technical background, with a willingness to engage in coding and architectural discussions.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive and lead in fast-paced, dynamic environments, ideally within fintech or high-frequency trading.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills.
