About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Institutional Lending to lead and expand our lending services for institutional clients across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to drive significant growth and innovation within the rapidly evolving crypto finance landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for institutional lending products and services, aligning with overall company objectives.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and client-centricity.
• Cultivate and manage key relationships with institutional clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying new business opportunities.
• Oversee risk management frameworks, ensuring robust credit assessment, collateral management, and regulatory compliance for all lending activities.
• Collaborate closely with product, legal, and compliance teams to innovate new lending solutions and ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Proven track record (8+ years) in institutional lending, credit, or structured finance within traditional finance or the digital asset space.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, credit risk, and collateral management principles.
• Strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, blockchain technology, and digital asset lending products.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to build, motivate, and manage a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior stakeholders and institutional clients.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services and digital assets in Europe.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote work environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with DeFi protocols and decentralized lending platforms.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (e.g., MBA, CFA).
• Existing network of institutional clients or partners in the crypto or traditional finance sectors.
