About the Role

Lead and expand Kraken's market-leading Over-The-Counter (OTC) desk, driving growth and innovation for institutional clients in the dynamic crypto spot market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the institutional OTC spot trading business.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand client base and trading volumes.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of traders and sales professionals.
• Ensure robust risk management practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key institutional clients.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in OTC trading, ideally within the cryptocurrency or traditional finance institutional sector.
• Deep understanding of spot markets, liquidity provision, and market making.
• Proven track record of leadership and managing trading teams.
• Strong grasp of financial regulations and risk management principles.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
• Passion for and knowledge of the crypto industry and blockchain technology.
