Head of Regional Growth - Italy & Southern Europe

About the Role

This pivotal role is designed for a strategic marketing leader to significantly drive Kraken's market share and user growth across Italy and Southern Europe, leading multi-channel marketing strategies in a dynamic and competitive crypto environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to bolster Kraken’s market share in the specified region.
• Drive new user acquisition and enhance performance across the entire customer lifecycle, including onboarding, trading, and engagement with Kraken’s product suite.
• Localize global campaigns, creatives, content, and brand guidelines to resonate with the preferences of regional audiences.
• Generate innovative, local-first marketing ideas that uniquely position Kraken’s brand and effectively persuade potential customers to engage.
• Actively participate in hands-on execution, which may include producing content, planning and managing events, optimizing Kraken web pages, localizing advertisements, managing local social media channels, and representing Kraken in PR and interviews.
• Measure and analyze marketing performance using data, making informed recommendations to adjust strategies for greater effectiveness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a marketing role, with a proven track record of autonomously developing and delivering successful marketing and growth campaigns.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new users within highly competitive markets.
• Deep regional expertise, including language and cultural nuances, specific to Italy and Southern Europe.
• Advanced knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape, including product functionalities, revenue models, and key competitors in the region.
• Experience in marketing within a regulated business environment, preferably in financial services.
• Strong understanding of marketing analytics, including key ratios, performance metrics, attribution modeling, and A/B testing, coupled with proven experience using analytical tools and MarTech platforms.
• Exceptional creative thinking abilities, capable of developing data-grounded growth ideas and effectively persuading stakeholders to implement them.
