Health & Safety Officer

About the Role

Join our Employee Lifecycle team to lead the implementation of occupational health and safety programs, ensuring compliance and well-being for our global workforce with a primary focus on Spain. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape global safety policies and manage vendor partnerships in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain occupational risk prevention activities and safety policies globally.
• Scout, onboard, and manage relationships with external vendors, health centers, and training partners.
• Analyze vendor quotations, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and service excellence.
• Provide expert support to customers and employees regarding health assessments and safety training queries.
• Lead internal audits to ensure entity compliance with local health and safety regulations.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• Official 'Técnico/a Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales' qualification covering Occupational Safety, Ergonomics, and Applied Psychosociology.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing health and safety programs.
• Demonstrated experience in vendor management, including scouting and onboarding.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to map and improve complex processes.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Certification or experience in Industrial Hygiene.
• Previous experience working in a fully remote or distributed team setting.
• Proficiency in additional languages beyond English and Spanish.
