Implementation Engineer

About the Role

As an Implementation Engineer, you will be a pivotal technical post-sale consultant, guiding clients to long-term success by designing, configuring, and delivering Clutch’s innovative platform. This exciting role allows you to combine strong technical skills with excellent communication to empower our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead client implementations from design to delivery, ensuring long-term success on Clutch products.
• Manage project plans, processes, and client expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Independently kick off and lead client projects, taking them live with confidence.
• Continuously apply learnings to improve project execution and client outcomes.
• Contribute to enhancing team documentation, processes, and developing new efficiency tools.
• Develop deep knowledge to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally within a startup environment.
• 2+ years of professional experience integrating with web APIs.
• Ability to read, write, and understand code in multiple programming languages for troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Python, JSON, GitHub, and terminal commands.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable leading technical discussions with customers.
• Proven ability to identify and communicate pragmatic solutions to complex integration challenges.
• Self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Superior time management and proactive communication skills to manage multiple external customers simultaneously.
• Passion for working with people and explaining complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with modern web frameworks such as React or Node.js.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
