Interim Senior FP&A Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Interim Senior FP&A Analyst to provide critical financial planning and analysis support during a key period of growth. This remote role offers the exciting opportunity to directly influence strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets.
• Develop complex financial models to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and scenario analysis.
• Partner closely with department heads to understand business drivers and translate operational performance into financial outcomes.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reports summarizing financial performance, variance analysis, and key insights.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Expert proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling, pivot tables, lookups) and presentation software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with modern FP&A software solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights).
• Prior experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment.
• CPA or MBA qualification.
