About the Role

Join our team as an Intermediate Backend Engineer to develop robust Ruby on Rails applications focused on security risk management and insights. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical security infrastructure from EMEA or North America.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails.
• Implement and enhance features for security risk assessment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security specialists and product managers, to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a focus on Ruby on Rails development.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with security best practices and concepts related to risk management.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices or CI/CD pipelines.
