Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer, Networking and Incident Management

About the Role

Join our team as an Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on Networking and Incident Management. In this remote role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and stability of our critical network infrastructure and leading incident response efforts across APAC and EMEA time zones.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to and resolve critical incidents promptly.
• Develop and implement automation for network operations and incident response.
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement highly available and scalable network solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or Network Engineer.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, HTTP).
• Experience with incident management processes and tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their networking services.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team across different time zones (APAC/EMEA).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certifications in networking or cloud platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
