IT Specialist

About the Role

Join Circle as a hands-on IT Specialist to manage daily IT operations, ensuring our growing, fully remote team has secure and efficient tools to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provision and de-provision user accounts, permissions, and hardware (laptops, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).
• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests, resolving day-to-day issues quickly.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and system changes.
• Administer and deploy core IT tools such as Okta (SSO) and Google Workspace (MDM).
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding workflows and run regular account audits for compliance.
• Maintain IT documentation, including inventory tracking and process guides.
• Support compliance activities (e.g., SOC 2 evidence collection) and help define/implement IT ticketing processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT operations, helpdesk support, or systems administration.
• Proficiency with core IT tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and device management for macOS and Windows OS.
• Experience with SSO and MDM platforms (Okta, Kandji, or similar).
• Strong documentation habits and a proactive, service-oriented approach.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software effectively in a remote-first environment.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with compliance processes like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Experience with IT ticketing/helpdesk platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Jira Service Management).
• Experience working in a SaaS or distributed environment supporting remote teams.
