Junior QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Junior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our innovative digital solutions, playing a key role in their successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts based on requirements and technical specifications.
• Write and modify test code to validate application functionality and system behavior.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to verify application requirements.
• Identify, document, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Foundational knowledge of programming concepts and at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
• Understanding of software testing principles and the software development lifecycle.
• Basic ability to read, write, and troubleshoot automated test scripts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience in government contracting or the healthcare industry.
