Lead Product Designer, Discover

About the Role

Lead the end-to-end design of Circle's Discover marketplace, shaping how creators and consumers connect and find transformative experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the design strategy and execution for the Discover product area, from opportunity identification to shipping impactful features.
• Design innovative, AI-driven discovery experiences that build trust and foster meaningful connections between creators and consumers.
• Serve both sides of the marketplace, ensuring visibility for creators and confidence for consumers.
• Prototype rapidly using AI-assisted tools to stress-test ideas and iterate quickly.
• Elevate the design craft within the team through high-quality work and constructive feedback.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing shipped 0→1 work and experience in complex multi-user flows.
• Proven experience as the most senior designer on a product area, driving product direction and owning outcomes.
• Deep experience in consumer marketplace or two-sided platform products, with a demonstrated understanding of what builds trust and drives engagement.
• Genuine fluency with AI-assisted prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Lovable).
• Proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design and collaboration.
• Proactive and clear communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to share thinking and surface decisions early.
• Comfort designing and iterating in ambiguous environments.
• Proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.
