Lead Product Manager, Developer Platform & Scout

Join Zapier as a Lead Product Manager to shape the future of our Developer Platform and Scout teams. In this pivotal role, you will drive the evolution of tools that empower internal and external developers to build and maintain integrations, making integration development smarter, faster, and more scalable through automation and AI.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete integration development lifecycle, enhancing Zapier’s Developer Platform and pioneering AI-powered development acceleration through Scout.
• Drive a unified product vision, connecting mature platform capabilities with emerging AI tools to improve the developer experience.
• Partner with engineering to deliver reliable, scalable systems that meet immediate platform needs and long-term ecosystem automation goals.
• Rally cross-functional teams around shared platform goals, building consensus and driving collaborative delivery of intelligent, self-improving integration tooling.
• Translate complex technical opportunities into compelling product cases, demonstrating how platform stability and AI innovation create compound value for our 8,000+ app ecosystem.
• Define and adapt success metrics across platform reliability, developer productivity, and AI automation effectiveness to ensure maximum impact.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal product teams and the Developer Platform, consolidating solutions into shared platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Technically fluent, with experience as an engineer or working closely with developer products, comfortable discussing APIs, SDKs, and tooling trade-offs.
• Energized by platform impact, thriving on empowering thousands of integration builders to move faster and build better.
• Experienced with mature products, capable of navigating complex platforms, balancing incremental improvements with bold upgrades while maintaining reliability.
• A natural influencer who can align cross-functional teams and stakeholders on what’s best for the entire integration ecosystem.
• Comfortable with the innovation spectrum, seamlessly moving between optimizing proven platform tools and pioneering experimental AI workflows.
• A product-minded platform thinker who excels at understanding how internal products evolve and translating those needs into upstream platform capabilities.
