Lead Product Manager, Kraken Custody

About the Role

As a Lead Product Manager for Kraken Custody, you will be instrumental in defining and executing the product strategy for our institutional crypto services. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in the digital asset space and contribute to the global adoption of crypto by building secure, scalable, and client-centric custody solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Kraken Custody, aligning with overall company goals.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and research to development, launch, and post-launch iteration.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, legal, compliance, and business development teams to deliver best-in-class products.
• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and client engagement to identify opportunities and unmet needs within the institutional crypto custody landscape.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable product specifications and user stories.
• Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on features to ensure continuous improvement and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, with a significant portion in crypto, fintech, or institutional financial services.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the specific challenges and opportunities in crypto custody.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex products for institutional clients.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Location & Work Arrangement

• This is a full-time, fully remote position.
