About the Role

Join Deel as a Legal Counsel to provide essential legal support across our global organization, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. This is an exciting opportunity to advise on diverse legal matters, from corporate governance to commercial agreements, directly contributing to our strategic objectives in the fast-paced world of global HR and payroll.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring global compliance with intellectual property transfer agreements and related mechanisms.
• Draft and review a variety of commercial and corporate agreements.
• Provide accurate, relevant, and timely advice on legal topics, including fintech, labor laws, and corporate matters.
• Review and negotiate client and vendor agreements, supporting internal compliance efforts.
• Handle and assist with a wide range of legal issues and projects as they arise.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with at least 2 years in-house or advising corporate clients in Switzerland.
• Strong expertise in Swiss employment law.
• Good understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks applicable to international service providers.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, capable of translating complex legal concepts into practical business advice.
• Ability to balance legal risk with business priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaborative work with cross-functional teams.
• High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters.

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of staff leasing regulations (LSE) and labor leasing compliance.
• Experience advising on cross-border employment and work permit regulations.
• Fluency in German.
• Prior experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization.
