About the Role

Join us as a Lightning Evangelist to drive the adoption and growth of the Lightning Network, connecting with a global community to bring bitcoin to the next billion people.

Responsibilities

• Lightning Community Engagement
  • Embed yourself within the global Lightning community, understanding the priorities of end-users, application builders, routing node operators, and protocol developers.
  • Attract new developers to the Lightning Network by fostering connections, highlighting community projects, and organizing opportunities for new developers to get involved.
  • Organize developer and community calls to communicate the latest updates from Lightning Labs and help product and engineering teams incorporate external feedback.
• Business Development
  • Source new potential customers, from Lightning-first developers to bitcoin technical teams wanting to add Lightning support, and companies integrating stablecoins on Lightning.
  • Support existing customers as a point of contact for software issues and by explaining new features and their business-related impacts.
  • Understand business goals and connect potential or existing customers with ecosystem participants to help them succeed.

Requirements

• A strong passion for Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.
• Proven experience engaging with the broader Bitcoin community.
• A track record of successfully connecting with developers across the world.
• A continuous drive to improve the developer experience of building with Lightning.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, remote environment; proximity to US time zones is preferred.
