Localization QA Specialist

About the Role

Join our dynamic, remote team as a Localization QA Specialist, playing a crucial role in ensuring the linguistic quality and cultural accuracy of our products for a global audience. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-class user experience across diverse markets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive linguistic and functional quality assurance on localized product content, including UI, marketing materials, and documentation.
• Identify, document, and track localization bugs and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with localization project managers, engineers, and linguists to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to established style guides, glossaries, and terminology across all localized assets.
• Provide feedback on localization quality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience (e.g., 2+ years) in localization quality assurance, linguistic testing, or a similar role.
• Fluency in English and at least one other language relevant to our target markets (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, German, French).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify subtle linguistic and cultural nuances.
• Familiarity with common CAT (Computer-Assisted Translation) tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.
• This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates based in Europe, Mexico, or Brazil.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or financial services products.
• Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and globalization best practices.
• Proficiency in multiple languages.
