As an Engineering Manager for the Supply Chain Security Developer Experience team, you will lead the development and operations of Docker Scout, a key SaaS product, shaping the future of secure container ecosystems. This exciting opportunity allows you to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced, customer-first environment.
About the Team
The Supply Chain Security group is dedicated to redefining software development and operations security through a holistic, developer-first approach. We build end-to-end solutions for securing the container ecosystem, from developer inner loop to production, with a strong emphasis on ease of use and automation.
Responsibilities
- Lead a geographically distributed team of engineers across Europe and North America.
- Drive the development and operation of Docker Scout, including its web interface, Docker Desktop integration, CLI, APIs, and backend platform.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Security leadership to translate roadmap and priorities into actionable work for your team.
- Take active ownership of your team members’ development, growth, and performance.
- Own the team’s execution and agile ceremonies.
- Perform architecture and code reviews.
Requirements
- Experience leading teams developing and operating SaaS products on cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of the software and container security ecosystem.
- Familiarity with software supply chain concepts, such as SLSA, in-toto, CVEs, cryptographic signing, and repeatable builds.
- Proven experience leading agile, remote engineering teams.
- Demonstrate a high degree of independence and ownership.
- Passion for enabling engineers to do great work and delivering exceptional value to customers.
