About the RoleAs the Manager of Sales Development, you will lead and mentor a team of BDRs responsible for both inbound lead qualification and outbound opportunity generation. Your leadership will be crucial in achieving pipeline targets and driving the overall success of the Sales Development function.### Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs).- Hire and onboard new BDRs, working with recruiting to identify top talent.- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the BDR team's performance.- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.- Ensure alignment of BDR activities with overall company sales goals.- Provide ongoing feedback and hands-on coaching in weekly 1:1s to develop team skills.- Drive repeatable progress toward pipeline targets and manage pipeline generation.- Foster a collaborative environment to enhance productivity and motivation.- Refine lead generation tactics and improve top of funnel conversion rates.- Develop team's skills for outbound prospecting, qualifying, and opportunity creation.- Collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to improve strategies, messaging, and qualification processes.### Requirements- Proven experience leading and mentoring a Sales Development or BDR team.- Demonstrated ability to hire, onboard, and develop sales talent.- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills for optimizing sales development performance.- Experience in setting and tracking sales performance metrics and KPIs.- Excellent coaching, feedback, and team development abilities.- Ability to drive pipeline generation and manage top-of-funnel activities.- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, Marketing, and Demand Generation teams.- Understanding of outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity creation processes.- This is a remote position within the United States.
