Join our pioneering Servicing International team at the forefront of Affirm's global expansion. This critical Manager, Software Engineering role focuses on building foundational platforms for purchase protection, including disputes and refunds, to ensure trust and satisfaction for our newest international customers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your team's process, set aspirational goals, and ensure accountability for delivery.
• Support cross-functional partners in trade-off discussions and manage misalignment within your peers or across the broader organization.
• Provide a calming presence for your team, supporting them through difficult, high-pressure situations without compromising psychological safety.
• Champion operational excellence for your team by developing priorities, goals, expectations, and metrics that center your team on the definition of success.
• Help your team network and build relationships across Affirm, ensuring everyone has access to the information they need.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software engineering management, leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong ability to foster deep collaboration and manage stakeholder relationships across diverse teams and international counterparts.
• Demonstrated expertise in defining and driving operational excellence, setting clear goals and metrics for team success.
• Passion for creating world-class user experiences and excited by the challenge of launching products in new regions.
• Ability to work remotely from Spain.
