About the Role

Join our Creative team as a Motion Designer to bring Vercel's brand to life through captivating motion graphics. This is an exciting opportunity to define the visual rhythm, pacing, and energy of a brand trusted by ambitious builders worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Shape the brand's story through motion across product launches, campaigns, events, and social media.
• Define the rhythm, pacing, and energy of Vercel's visual identity.
• Design effortless, intentional, and distinctly Vercel motion, including kinetic typography, 3D animations, UI demos, and event openers.
• Drive creative ideas from initial concept through to final render.
• Experiment with new tools, including AI, to prototype quickly and iterate for sharp, impactful results.
• Utilize motion to clarify complex ideas without overcomplicating them.

Requirements

• Proven experience in motion design with a strong portfolio demonstrating attention to detail and understanding of timing and transitions.
• Ability to push creative boundaries and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative explorer mindset, with a passion for tinkering, storytelling, and continuous experimentation.
• Proficiency in relevant motion design software and tools.

Work Arrangement

• This role offers flexibility: if you are within commuting distance of our SF, NY, London, or Berlin offices, you will have in-office anchor days (Monday, Tuesday, Friday).
• For candidates located beyond commuting distance, this is a fully remote position.
