About the Role

Join us as an Observability Architect to redefine post-sales technical partnerships, stepping into a strategic leadership role with our most important customers. This position is ideal for deeply technical experts passionate about systems thinking, architecture design, and driving direct customer impact.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers.
• Design and guide customers through their observability maturity journey, providing expert-level troubleshooting and guidance.
• Conduct regular technical reviews, health checks, and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Advise clients on best practices and strategies for leveraging Grafana's technology to achieve their business goals.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and execute technical roadmaps and identify optimization opportunities for cost and solution adoption.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders, including engineers, SREs, and architects.
• Own the customer lifecycle, leading technical discovery, solution design, onboarding, and enablement with support from Engagement Managers.
• Represent the technical voice of customers internally, shaping product feedback and roadmap priorities with Engineering and Product Management teams.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in observability principles, tools, and modern infrastructure and application environments.
• Proven experience in architecting and guiding the implementation of complex technical solutions.
• Strong customer-facing experience with a track record of building strategic relationships and driving long-term customer success.
• Ability to conduct technical discovery, design solutions, and provide effective enablement and guidance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with the Grafana LGTM Stack (Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Tempo) or similar distributed observability platforms.
• Experience ensuring technology is deeply embedded into mission-critical systems.
