On-Call Designer

About the Role

Join our contractor pool as an On-Call Designer, specializing in animation, to contribute to engaging course and marketing content for Udacity. This remote role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to partner with our Video Production team on exciting, fast-paced projects, making a real difference in digital education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Designers and Editors to create compelling animated content for Udacity's courses and marketing materials.
• Assist in the visual development and enhancement of educational video content.
• Maintain proper file structure and organization for all project assets.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with your assigned Producer regarding project status, requirements, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in animation or motion graphics, ideally within a video production or content creation environment.
• Proficiency in relevant animation software and tools.
• Strong organizational skills, including a solid understanding of proper file structuring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote team interaction.
• Ability to work efficiently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced, project-based workflow.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.

Work Arrangement & Impact
