On Campus Ambassador

About the Role

Are you a passionate university student eager to build vibrant online communities and connect students on your campus? As a Reddit Campus Ambassador, you will represent Reddit, leading student engagement and organizing real-world events, all while gaining valuable experience in community management and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow your college’s subreddit into a central hub for student life, covering everything from academic advice to cultural trends.
• Organize at least one event per month, such as meetups, AMAs, and creative activations, making Reddit an integral part of the student experience.
• Onboard new users and help students discover relevant communities, effectively explaining Reddit's value.
• Provide Reddit with feedback and insights on student needs, tracking community growth, engagement, and event impact to enhance platform support for university communities.
• Partner with campus clubs to integrate Reddit into student activities and raise awareness about subreddits and upcoming events.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a university student.
• Passionate about building and fostering online communities and bringing people together.
• Demonstrated interest in event planning and student engagement.
• Strong communication and leadership potential.
• Available for a part-time, paid contractor opportunity.
