About the Role

Join Mission Lane as a Paralegal to manage critical day-to-day corporate legal operations, supporting our mission to empower financial success for millions.

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence and audit requests from intake to completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support corporate governance by preparing and maintaining documentation, assisting with filings, and managing entity records.
• Oversee relationships with outside counsel and legal vendors, including invoice and budget management.
• Partner with internal teams (Legal, Finance, IT, Tax, Treasury, People) to streamline legal workflows.
• Assist attorneys with commercial transactions and compliance matters, exercising sound judgment.
• Grow into new responsibilities such as Board coordination, legal research, and contract review as the legal function scales.

Requirements

• 7+ years of corporate and transactional experience, preferably in a large corporate legal department or law firm.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with corporate transactions, due diligence, and compliance.
• Proven experience managing budgets and vendor relationships, including law firm billing.
• Excellent communication, research, and organizational skills.
• Comfort and curiosity in using AI tools for legal operations.
• Ability to work fully remote, with occasional business travel.
