Partner Solutions Architect

About the Role

Join Supabase as a Partner Solutions Architect, where you'll be instrumental in empowering our partners to build innovative solutions and drive the adoption of our open-source platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with strategic partner engagement, directly contributing to our ecosystem's growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Supabase partners to understand their technical needs and design solutions leveraging the Supabase platform.
• Provide technical guidance, architectural best practices, and hands-on support to partners during their development and integration phases.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to partner teams.
• Act as a technical liaison between partners and Supabase product/engineering teams, relaying feedback and advocating for partner requirements.
• Create technical content, including reference architectures, code samples, and documentation, to accelerate partner success.
• Support partner pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and solution validation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a solutions architecture, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, backend development, and API design principles.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and experience with database-as-a-service offerings.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong technical relationships with partners or customers.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or other modern programming languages.

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct experience with Supabase or Firebase platforms.
• Familiarity with open-source communities and contributions.
• Experience working with a variety of cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Background in developer relations or technical advocacy.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
