Responsibilities

• Manage and process end-to-end payroll for employees in Finland, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure full compliance with Finnish labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Reconcile payroll data, prepare reports, and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Respond to and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, adhering to data privacy standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience (e.g., 2-4 years) in payroll processing, specifically with Finnish payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Finnish tax legislation, labor laws, and social security regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll software and systems; experience with global payroll platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English, written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, full-time capacity from Finland.
