About the Role

Join our dynamic global operations team as a Payroll Associate, where you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees in Latvia. This position is essential for maintaining employee satisfaction and upholding compliance with local regulations, directly contributing to our operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for employees in Latvia, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and local labor laws.
• Reconcile payroll data, identify and resolve discrepancies, and prepare payroll reports.
• Manage payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and timely responses.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Latvian tax, social security, and labor legislation.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with a focus on Latvian payroll.
• Strong understanding of Latvian tax laws, social security contributions, and labor regulations.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and calculations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with employees and internal teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, full-time capacity from Latvia.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll systems or working in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of HR information systems (HRIS).
• Fluency in both Latvian and English.
