About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Associate focusing on Netherlands operations, playing a vital role in ensuring accurate and compliant compensation for our employees while working remotely from Spain.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees in the Netherlands, ensuring strict adherence to local laws and company policies.
• Manage and process payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, changes in compensation, benefits, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a primary point of contact for employee payroll queries, providing clear and timely resolutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Netherlands payroll legislation, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other relevant departments to streamline payroll processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience (2-4 years) as a Payroll Associate or similar role, with specific expertise in Netherlands payroll.
• In-depth understanding of Dutch labor law, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, or local Dutch payroll systems).
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch language proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Based in Spain, with the ability to work full-time remotely.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms or multi-country payroll.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., IPP, NEN 4400-1).
• Experience working in a high-growth or tech company environment.
