Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process for Swedish employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Process new hires, terminations, changes, and other payroll-related adjustments accurately.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from employees and clients, providing clear and helpful information.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Stay updated on changes in Swedish payroll legislation and tax laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Associate or similar role, with specific expertise in Swedish payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of Swedish labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Proficiency with payroll software and systems; experience with global payroll platforms is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working for a global payroll provider or a company with a significant international workforce.
• Certification in payroll or a related field.
