Responsibilities

• Manage and process end-to-end payroll for employees based in Portugal, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Calculate and process salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
• Reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and prepare relevant reports.
• Stay updated on Portuguese payroll legislation, tax laws, and social security contributions.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related matters.
• Maintain meticulous payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Associate or similar role, specifically with Portuguese payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Portuguese labor law, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Portuguese and English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote work setting.
