About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Expert specializing in Mexico payroll management, playing a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant compensation for our global workforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Mexico, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure full compliance with all Mexican labor laws, tax regulations (SAT), and social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT).
• Reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and prepare detailed payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Mexico payroll, providing guidance and support on payroll-related inquiries.
• Collaborate closely with HR, finance, and legal teams to streamline processes and maintain data integrity.
• Stay updated on changes in Mexican payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments to ensure continuous compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in processing payroll specifically for Mexico, demonstrating a deep understanding of local regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of Mexican labor law, tax regulations (ISR), and social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT).
• Proficiency with payroll software and systems; experience with global payroll platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, essential for a global team.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote, and globally distributed environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working within a SaaS company or a global HR/payroll technology environment.
• Professional certifications in payroll or human resources.
• Familiarity with Deel or similar global EOR/payroll platforms.
