Payroll Expert, China Payroll

About the Role

This role is crucial for managing and optimizing payroll operations specifically for China, ensuring accuracy and compliance for our clients. You will play a key part in supporting our global expansion by providing expert payroll services.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for clients in China, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Chinese payroll regulations, tax laws, and social security contributions.
• Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding payroll queries and provide expert advice.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, legal, finance) to streamline payroll processes.
• Stay updated on changes in China's payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in China payroll management.
• In-depth knowledge of Chinese labor laws, tax regulations, and social security systems.
• Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

• Experience with global payroll platforms (e.g., Deel, Remote, Papaya Global).
• Experience working in a high-growth, international company.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPP).
