About the Role

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for employees in Mexico, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with all Mexican labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT, etc.).
• Manage payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide clear, accurate information.
• Prepare and submit required payroll reports to internal stakeholders and external authorities.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams on payroll-related matters.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Expert with a strong focus on Mexican payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Mexican labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT).
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms or PEO models.
• Familiarity with Deel or similar global HR/payroll platforms.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
