Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees and contractors in Slovenia, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure full compliance with Slovenian tax, social security, and labor laws.
• Handle payroll-related inquiries from clients and employees, providing expert guidance and support.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, legal, finance) to streamline payroll operations.
• Stay updated on changes in Slovenian payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Expert with a strong focus on Slovenian payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Slovenian tax regulations, social security contributions, and labor laws.
• Experience with various payroll software and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
• Excellent communication skills in both Slovenian and English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with a global payroll provider or in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with Deel's platform or similar global HR/payroll solutions.
