About the Role

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for employees in Spain, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure full compliance with Spanish labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Manage and maintain payroll data, including new hires, terminations, changes, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with HR, finance, and external providers to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Prepare and submit required payroll reports and declarations to relevant authorities.
• Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, taxes, and benefits with clear and helpful information.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Expert, specifically with Spanish payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Spanish labor law, tax regulations, and social security systems.
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
