Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end UK payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure full compliance with UK payroll legislation, tax laws, and statutory requirements (e.g., PAYE, NI, pensions).
• Manage and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for finance and management.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams to streamline payroll processes.
• Stay informed about changes in UK payroll regulations and implement necessary updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Expert, specifically with UK payroll processing.
• In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP), and pension schemes.
• Experience with payroll software and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely from India.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms or HRIS systems.
• Relevant professional payroll qualifications (e.g., CIPP).
• Familiarity with international employment practices.
