Responsibilities

As a Payroll Expert for Italy, you will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of payroll processing for our Italian clients and their employees. Your key duties will include:

• Processing monthly payroll for Italian entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensuring compliance with Italian payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
• Reconciling payroll data and preparing relevant reports.
• Responding to payroll-related queries from clients and employees in Italy.
• Collaborating with internal teams to optimize payroll processes and systems.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should bring a strong background in Italian payroll management and a commitment to accuracy and compliance:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Expert, specifically with Italian payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Italian labor law, social security contributions, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, these qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience with global payroll platforms or a SaaS environment.
• Relevant professional certifications in payroll or accounting.
• Experience with high-volume payroll processing.
