Payroll Implementation Manager

About the Role

Join Deel as a Payroll Implementation Manager, specializing in Norway, to guide clients through the seamless integration of our global payroll platform. This pivotal remote role offers the chance to apply your deep knowledge of Norwegian payroll regulations to deliver exceptional client onboarding experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Deel's payroll solutions for clients operating in Norway.
• Configure and customize the Deel platform to align with specific Norwegian payroll requirements, including tax, social security, and local benefits.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, providing expert guidance and support.
• Collaborate closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for clients on platform usage and best practices for Norwegian payroll.
• Ensure all implementations adhere to Norwegian labor laws and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience (e.g., 3+ years) in payroll implementation or a similar client-facing payroll role, with a strong focus on Norway.
• In-depth knowledge of Norwegian payroll legislation, tax regulations, and social security contributions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multiple client implementations simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Norwegian and English.
• Experience with HRIS or payroll software configuration and client training.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with a global payroll provider or in a SaaS environment.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Familiarity with other Nordic payroll systems or regulations.
