About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Implementation Manager, where you will play a crucial role in onboarding new clients and ensuring seamless payroll operations specifically for Portugal. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll implementation process for new clients in Portugal.
• Configure payroll systems according to client specifications and local regulatory requirements.
• Conduct client training sessions and provide ongoing support during the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product, support) to ensure a smooth client transition.
• Identify and resolve implementation challenges, ensuring timely and accurate payroll setup.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Portuguese payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll implementation or a similar project management role.
• Strong understanding of Portuguese payroll legislation, tax, and social security contributions.
• Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Fluent in both English and Portuguese.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms or implementing payroll solutions across multiple countries.
• PMP or other project management certification.
• Background in a SaaS environment.
