Payroll Implementation Manager

About the Role

Join Deel as a Payroll Implementation Manager, where you will lead the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for our global clients. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end global payroll system implementations, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery for clients.
• Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all project matters and guiding them through technical payroll onboarding.
• Define and configure client payroll processes, including data requirements, system interfaces, and reports.
• Oversee data migration from legacy systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with local tax and labor laws.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring a smooth transition to new payroll systems.
• Create, maintain, and manage detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation.
• Implement change management strategies to ensure seamless transitions for employees and HR teams.
• Conduct regular project review calls, providing status updates to clients and senior leadership, and escalating issues as necessary.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across various international locations.
• Proven experience with payroll systems and software.
• Client-facing project management experience and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
