Payroll Implementation Manager

About the Role

Join our team as a temporary Payroll Implementation Manager in Spain, playing a crucial role in onboarding new clients to our global payroll platform. You will ensure seamless and compliant payroll setup, contributing directly to our mission of simplifying global employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of payroll solutions for new clients in Spain, ensuring timely and accurate setup.
• Configure payroll systems according to client specifications and local Spanish regulations.
• Manage data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes during client onboarding.
• Provide expert guidance and training to clients on using the payroll platform.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, product, support) to resolve implementation challenges.
• Ensure all payroll implementations comply with Spanish labor laws and tax regulations.
• Document implementation processes and client-specific configurations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Implementation Manager or similar role, specifically with Spanish payroll.
• Strong understanding of Spanish labor law, social security, and tax regulations.
• Experience with payroll software implementation and configuration.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• This is a temporary position based remotely in Spain.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working with a global payroll or HR SaaS platform.
• Familiarity with Deel's platform or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
• Additional certifications in payroll or project management.
