Payroll Implementation Manager

About the Role

Join Deel as a Payroll Implementation Manager to lead the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for our diverse global clients. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless transitions and accurate system configurations, directly impacting our clients' operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of global payroll systems for clients, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all project matters and guiding them through technical payroll onboarding.
• Define, set up, and configure client payroll processes, including data requirements, system interfaces, and reports.
• Oversee the accurate and secure migration of payroll data from legacy systems to Deel's platform.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure a smooth transition and resolve system issues.
• Ensure all payroll processes adhere to local tax and labor laws, staying updated on compliance changes.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, status reports, and process documentation.
• Implement change management strategies to facilitate seamless transitions for clients and their teams.
• Schedule and attend weekly client calls, reporting on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance, particularly within the UAE context.
• Proven experience with various payroll systems and software.
• Demonstrated client-facing project management expertise, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
